At this time, patients that come to the hospital for an appointment in our office will be screened at the entry and access points. Entry points in the Scurlock tower are on the 1st and 2nd floors. 2nd floor will be open 24 hours, 1st floor will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We ask that you arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for this necessary screening.
You can expect:
To be asked a series of questions about symptoms
After having your temperature checked you will receive a wristband.
If you are asymptomatic, you will be cleared to go to your appointment
If you are not cleared, you will be masked and instructed to go home, monitor their symptoms and consider seeking medical attention through a virtual visit.
Patients will be limited to one person accompanying them, over age 18, they will also be screened, have their temperature checked and be asked to wear a wrist band.
What we are doing:
We are working remotely and taking phone calls from our homes during normal business hours.
Each day we have two team phone calls one in the morning and one at the end of the day to discuss the function and functionality of our daily operations and patient care.
During our two team calls, our phones will be forwarded to the answering service. We will be accessible during this time for emergent calls.
Phones will be forwarded, as usual at the end of the business day to our answering service.
Unless it is necessary for an in office appointment or procedure, we will conduct virtual visits and new patient consults. Please contact the office if you require an appointment.
If you have any questions, please call us. We will do our best to keep you informed as changes are occurring on a daily basis.
